Montgomery County Community College, College Hall

The renovation and addition to College Hall breathed new life into the 40-year-old facility and created a welcoming and vibrant environment on the Blue Bell, PA campus. The full-scale renovation transformed the aged, insular building into a bright and open mixed-use facility. Main level functions include a One-Stop Enrollment Center, Success Center, the library, and President's Office suite. The lower level houses student activities, dining, a conference center and administrative areas. Group collaborative spaces are scattered throughout the facility to foster communication and team activities.

A contemporary architectural vocabulary, coupled with state-of-the-art technology, attracts students and serves as a strong tool for both recruitment and retention of students. With creative phasing options, the building's operations continued uninterrupted during construction.

This project was completed by Tom Fantacone prior to joining Posen Architects.
